Birthing the Magic Collaborative

Founder

Developed full brand identity including name, logo, tone, and mission messaging. Created the marketing strategy and lead community engagement for a growing perinatal education nonprofit centering Black birthing people.

Dr. Shalon’s Maternal Action Project (DSMAP)

Chief of Staff & Brand Architect

Refined the organization’s visual identity, positioning, and strategic narrative. Crafted messaging for national visibility and designed community-driven programming with an equity lens.

Sharon Reed Walker

Personal Brand + Strategic Positioning

Guided the development of a cohesive personal brand for a national maternal health advocate, including logo creation, digital presence strategy, and keynote speaker positioning.

Safer Births Now

Founder & Brand Strategist

Conceived and launched this national maternal health initiative to raise awareness around obstetric violence and push for safer, more equitable birth outcomes. Led every aspect of development, from naming and brand design to messaging, web content, and strategic partnerships. Recruited collaborators across disciplines and created powerful educational content to spark culture shift and community dialogue.

GRAMMS™: Grandmothers Rallying Against Maternal Mortality Sisterhood

Program Co-Creator & Strategic Lead

Named and developed this national support program for Dr. Shalon’s Maternal Action Project. The purpose is to provide emotional support for women who’ve lost daughters or loved ones to maternal complications. Crafted the curriculum structure, workshop themes, and branding.
